A dynamic comeback with over 1,000 business meetings between invited trade visitors and exhibitors is made by the exhibition duo Artozyma and Detrop, which sets the “bar” of technological developments, extroversion and innovation in the agri-food sector.
The two Exhibitions are organized until tomorrow by TIF-Helexpo at the International Exhibition Center of Thessaloniki with a total of 350 exhibitors (direct and indirect), participations from 23 countries and more than 130 Hosted Buyers (invited trade visitors) from 22 countries.
The 5th Panhellenic Bread Championship, the master classes from the National Baking Team at the Bakery Lab, the corresponding pastry master classes from the Master Confectioners Club of Greece at the Pastry Lab, the Greek Bites Area and Cheese & Wine gastronomy and taste training events and the 1st International Competition Quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Quality Table Olives are only part of the parallel events of the two Exhibitions.
Even today from 17:00-19:00 the Trade Union of Shopkeepers-Confectioners of Thessaloniki is holding (seminars & workshops area on the mezzanine floor of stand 15) a day on the topic: “The Confectionery in its Digital Age”, while the AUTH and the Union of Greek Chemists PTKDM from 16:00-19:00 organizes an event (in room C of S.K. N. Germanos) on decentralized research infrastructures in the agri-food sector.
At Detrop Boutique, the honored municipality is the Municipality of Pyrgos Ilia, in whose stand many processing companies participate, which produce PDO products of high nutritional value.
Present at Detrop Boutique is the Greece of primary production and gastronomy with 7 Regions (Central Macedonia, Eastern Macedonia-Thrace, Northern Aegean, Central Greece, Peloponnese, Western Macedonia and Thessaly). Also participating are the Municipality of Gortynia, the Chamber of Larissa and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Thessaloniki, which subsidized 9 of its member companies.
The opening hours of the two Exhibitions tomorrow, Monday, April 4, are from 10:00-18:00.
